NFL Rush Gameday was designed to cultivate a new generation of football enthusiasts among kids. It aimed to make the sport enjoyable and accessible, introducing children of all ages to football in a user-friendly format. The app offered a variety of features, such as NFL schedules, avatar customization, weekly challenges, mini-games, and even a photo booth.
The Fun Never Ends
One of the standout and thrilling aspects was the avatar creator. Kids could engage in games to earn currency, which they could then spend in the avatar creator. This allowed them to purchase exciting items like new outfits, backgrounds, and even mystery boxes for their avatars!
Pretty in Print
In 2016, I was the lead designer on the initial release of the app, which gained recognition through a feature in Sports Illustrated Kids. Serving as both the app's UI designer and the creator of the piece showcased in the magazine, I played a key role in bringing the project to life.
First In Line
When the magazines were released I purchased a number of copies to share with the team and keep as a memorable keepsake.
