Barbie Gets a Makeover
CONTRIBUTIONS: ART DIRECTION, UI DESIGN, UX DESIGN, WEB DESIGN, WIREFRAMES, USER FLOW, LOGO DESIGN
AGENCY: FUEL INDUSTRIES
During my tenure at Fuel Youth Engagement, I had the exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with the creative team at Mattel to redesign their Barbie.com website. Our goal was to give the website a fresh new look to increase sales and relevance in the market.
Custom Icons
The Barbie creative team sought a vibrant and glossy aesthetic, a vision we successfully brought to life by integrating it into accent elements like the navigation menu icons.

Carefully Executed from Start to Finish
Before getting started on a project of this magnitude, we meticulously crafted a comprehensive user flow and a set of wireframes to ensure alignment on experience, design, and functionality.
Close Client Relationship
I collaborated with the Barbie creative team at Mattel in Los Angeles, California, to actualize their vision for the barbie.com website. Immersed in the Barbie studio's behind-the-scenes magic, I had the opportunity to visit their office multiple times, working closely with their in-house creatives to bring their vision to fruition.
B Doll Maker!
I also directed the design of the user interface for the web game, Bdoll Maker. Users could create their own barbie doll and dress it how they wanted. There was also a fashion studio where they could make their own creations. Users could then add their outfits to their closet, and save them to their My World page which acted like a Pinterest page.
